Prior versions of this Privacy Notice are available here.

This Privacy Notice explains how Offline Social Network Inc. ("Offline") collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal data in connection with Offline's brands and any specific product, service, or application that references or links to this Privacy Notice.

We may also provide different or additional disclosures relating to the processing of personal data about residents of certain countries, regions, or states. Please refer to the Region-Specific Disclosures section below for additional disclosures that may be applicable to you.

This Privacy Notice does not address our privacy practices relating to Offline job applicants, employees and other employment-related individuals, nor data not subject to applicable data protection laws (such as deidentified or publicly available information in certain jurisdictions). This Privacy Notice is not a contract and does not create any legal rights or obligations not otherwise provided by law.

Our Collection and Use of Personal Data

The categories of personal data we collect depend on how you interact with us and our services. For example, you may provide personal data when you register for an account, use in-app features, make a purchase, contact support, or otherwise interact with us. We also collect some personal data automatically when you interact with our websites and services, and we may receive personal data from third parties when you choose to connect them (such as Single Sign-On providers).

Personal Data Provided by Individuals

Personal Data Automatically Collected

We and our service providers may automatically collect information via cookies and similar technologies (e.g., web beacons, pixels, embedded scripts, SDKs, and logs). This information may be combined with information we collect directly from you or receive from other sources.

We use this information to operate, maintain, secure, and improve our services; personalize features; troubleshoot; perform analytics; and help prevent fraud and abuse.

LinkedIn Sign-In and Data Import

Offline may offer "Sign in with LinkedIn" and/or a user-initiated "Import from LinkedIn" feature using LinkedIn's OpenID Connect and/or Member Data Portability APIs. When you choose to connect LinkedIn, we receive information from LinkedIn to provide the feature you requested. The information we receive depends on the permissions you grant and may include your name, profile photo, email address, and certain profile information such as headline, education, and employer (where available).

We use LinkedIn-provided data only to: (1) authenticate you and create/maintain your account, (2) pre-fill your Offline profile to reduce onboarding friction, and (3) optionally verify affiliation for communities you choose to join (e.g., campus or company groups). You can review, edit, or remove imported data before saving it.

We do not use LinkedIn data to search for other LinkedIn members, scrape LinkedIn, build "shadow profiles" about non-users, sell personal data, or share LinkedIn-imported data with advertising partners. You can disconnect LinkedIn at any time and request deletion of imported data (see Your Rights and Choices and Data Retention).

Personal Data from Other Sources and Third Parties

We do not purchase personal data from data brokers for the purpose of creating marketing profiles.

Additional Uses of Personal Data

We may also use personal data to operate, maintain, secure, and improve our services; communicate with you; provide customer support; enforce our terms; and comply with legal obligations.

Our Disclosure of Personal Data

We may disclose personal data in the following circumstances:

We do not sell personal data (as "sell" may be defined under certain laws). We do not share LinkedIn-imported data with advertising partners or use LinkedIn-imported data for targeted advertising.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can also:

Automatic Data Collection Preferences

You can use your browser or device settings to control cookies and similar technologies. Blocking certain technologies may impact some features of our services.

Targeted Advertising

Offline may use analytics to understand usage and improve the product. If we offer advertising in the future, we will provide additional notice where required and we will not use LinkedIn-imported data for targeted advertising.

Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as reasonably necessary to (a) provide the services you request, (b) maintain your account, (c) comply with legal obligations, and (d) resolve disputes and enforce agreements. If you delete your account, we delete or de-identify personal data associated with your account within a reasonable period, unless retention is required by law. You may also request deletion of specific imported data (including LinkedIn-imported data) without deleting your entire account.

Children's Personal Data

Our services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Automated Processing

We may use automated processing to provide services you request (for example, ranking or recommending content). We do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects without appropriate human review.

Security of Personal Data

We implement reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal data, such as access controls and encryption in transit where appropriate. No security controls are perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Websites and Services

Our services may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices.

Region-Specific Disclosures

We may provide additional disclosures for residents of specific jurisdictions, including the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and certain U.S. states.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the date at the top and may provide additional notice as required.
